As Audiologists, we are committed to providing you with better hearing by offering the most advanced testing methods and hearing aid technologies available, as well as providing education for you and your family about the nature of hearing loss and your options for treatment.
 

Dr. Beth Ehrlich

President
 
Dr. Beth Ehrlich, Au.D. received her clinical Audiology Doctorate Degree (Au.D.) from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2001, her master's degree in Audiology from San Jose State University in 1977, and her bachelor's degree in Audiology from San Diego State University in 1974.

Dr. Ehrlich has been an Audiologist in the Bay Area for over 37 years the past 30 years as the owner of the Hearing Center. She is also a consultant to Sutter Hospital/Eden Hospital. Dr. Ehrlich is a founding member of the California Academy of Audiology. She is active in national and local professional organizations. Through these memberships and affiliations, Dr. Ehrlich continues to maintain a continuing high level of education so that she is familiar with the most current developments in a rapidly changing hearing healthcare industry. 		  Dr. Beth Ehrlich

Dr. Kenneth Smith

V.P. & Director of Operations
 
Dr. Kenneth E. Smith, Ph.D. received his Ph.D. from Kansas University Medical Center and has been in the field of audiology over 40 years, as a teacher, consultant, researcher and clinician. He was President and CEO of Hearing Associates, Inc., an Audiology practice in Kansas City. He now practices at the Hearing center of Castro Valley and is married to Dr. Ehrlich.

Dr. Smith is a past president of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. Taught at Salus University and is widely published in journals relevant to the profession.

As an expert in patient care and the process of treatment Dr. Smith specializes in applications of digital technology to the 'older' patient',improving the quality of their lives and consulting with industry relevent to new products and growth.

Dr. Natalie Schmitt

 
Dr. Natalie Schmitt received her clinical Audiology Doctorate Degree (Au.D) from Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2009, her master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Audiology from Purdue University in 1995 and 1993 respectively.

Dr Schmitt moved to the Bay Area in 1995 from Southern Indiana. She is an avid snowboarder and enjoys the outdoors with her husband, son and two Labrador Retrievers.

Dr. Schmitt has been licensed by the state of California as an Audiologist since 1996. Dr. Schmitt has been practicing Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing in the Bay Area for over 16 years and currently dispenses at EARS Inc., in San Jose and at the Hearing Center of Castro Valley. Dr. Schmitt’s specialty is in the area of moderately-severe to profound hearing loss and special interest in the treatment of Tinnitus.

Dr Schmitt is skilled in state of the art hearing aid technology, cochlear implants and believes strongly in an evidenced based practice to ensure patients get an accurate hearing aid fitting. Dr. Schmitt continues to ensure that her knowledge and skills remain up to date with the newest developments in hearing care.
